Casting Call: Male Wheelchair User for Television Series
Job Description: We are seeking a talented male individual who uses a wheelchair to fill a co-star role for the third season of “POWER BOOK IV: FORCE”. The ideal candidate will be a skilled dancer or athlete capable of performing impressive tricks in a wheelchair. This role requires someone who can convey a passion for music and performance while engaging with on-screen friends and audiences.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform dance and/or athletic routines in a wheelchair for various scenes.
- Work closely with the director and choreographer to execute choreographed pieces.
- Attend rehearsals as scheduled to prepare for shooting.
- Collaborate with the cast and crew to develop character and contribute to the storyline.
- Be available for all shooting dates and adhere to production schedules.
Requirements:
- Male, any ethnicity, aged 18 to 30 years.
- Must be a wheelchair user, comfortable with performing tricks.
- US citizen, Green card holder, or holder of a valid work visa for the US.
- Available for the entire duration of the shoot from April 17th, 2024, to May 1st, 2024, in Chicago.
- Previous acting experience is a plus.
- Able to provide a photo and performance resume or demo reel (if available).
Compensation:
- Competitive pay rates in line with industry standards, to be disclosed upon further progression in the casting process.
- Travel expenses and accommodation for the shoot will be covered if applicable.
- Credit and substantial exposure in a major network television series.
Casting Call: Actors for Television Series “DELI BOYS”
Job Description: Karge & Ross Casting is seeking talented actors for the upcoming television series “DELI BOYS,” which will be aired on the Onyx platform (Hulu). This promising project comes from the Executive Producer of the acclaimed series “GIRLS” and “SINGLE DRUNK FEMALE,” and offers a range of dynamic roles spanning various ages.
Job Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with directors and other actors to bring the characters to life.
- Prepare for and attend rehearsals as scheduled.
- Study scripts to understand character motivations and backgrounds.
- Participate in costume fittings, makeup sessions, and other preparatory activities.
- Perform scenes in front of cameras for television broadcast.
- Provide availability for the full shooting schedule from January 31st to April 4th.
Requirements:
- Actors to portray characters aged 20’s to 70’s, South Asian descent.
- Must have a flexible schedule for the shooting period.
- Previous acting experience in television, film, or theater preferred.
- Ability to convey a wide range of emotions and personalities on screen.
- Professional attitude and reliability.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills may be beneficial.
- Must be legally able to work in the United States.
