Job Description
A SAG-AFTRA comedy feature film is casting background actors in the St. Louis, Missouri metro area. The production is seeking adults of all ethnicities, appearances, and age ranges, with talent ages 18–30 especially encouraged to apply to portray college students. No previous acting experience is required, making this a great opportunity for aspiring actors and local talent interested in gaining professional feature film set experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Work as a background actor in a SAG-AFTRA feature film
- Portray college students and other background roles as assigned
- Help create realistic environments around principal actors
- Follow direction from the production and assistant directing teams
- Maintain professionalism and continuity throughout filming
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be a St. Louis metro area resident
- All ethnicities, appearances, and adult age ranges welcome
- Talent ages 18–30 are especially encouraged to apply for college student roles
- No previous acting experience required
- Background roles are non-union
Compensation
- $120 for 8 hours
- Overtime hourly rate applies after 8 hours
