Jones and Juliet Casting

As a woman-owned small business, we are proud to bring our diversity of interests and experiences to our real people and actor castings. Native New Yorker Nef Jones was raised in Alphabet City during the late 70s and 80s and brings 20 years of experience casting both real people and actors. As an accomplished musician herself, Nef co-founded Haven Kids Rock, a nonprofit music and arts program in the South Bronx with rock-guitarist husband Jimi K Bones. Haven Kids Rock caters to children in the foster care and welfare system. Juliet Axon found her way to casting over a decade ago. Having grown up in a family of visual artists and with a background in theater, film and TV, Juliet uses her love for visual storytelling to pull authentic stories and performances from real people in documentary style casting, and her extensive experience in narrative work to assemble casts of actors. The Jones & Juliet Casting team brainstorms a unique plan of action for each project. Our research team conducts extensive outreach to organizations and utilizes social media to find prospective real people talent for hard to find specs, nationwide. We have an extensive real people database from across the country to pull from. The Jones & Juliet Casting team also has great relationships with agents and managers for campaigns that call for actor casting. Depending on the needs of the project, our team can handle self-tape castings, virtual casting sessions, and in-person casting sessions. We also have travel casting capabilities when required.
