Job Description
A feature film production is casting students and young adults from New York City to appear in speaking and supporting roles in an upcoming project filming in NYC. The production is seeking authentic, diverse personalities that reflect real New York energy—from creative teens and aspiring artists to athletes, performers, and academically driven students. No acting experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for both new talent and aspiring actors to gain experience on a professional film set.

Job Responsibilities

• Appear in speaking or supporting roles in a feature film

• Portray students and young adults in scenes set around a New York City school environment

• Follow direction from the director and production team during filming

• Bring natural personality and authenticity to scenes

• Collaborate with cast and crew to help create realistic student life moments

Requirements

• Students and young adults ages 10–26

• Open to all ethnicities and backgrounds

• Must be based in or around the New York City area

• Both native English speakers and English-as-a-New-Language speakers are welcome

• No acting experience required

Compensation

• $1,514 per week for speaking roles

• $436 per day depending on role

• SAG-AFTRA scale rates (SAG membership not required to apply)

• Filming participation may range from 1 day up to 4 weeks depending on role

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in a short on-camera Zoom interview with the director

• Be available for scheduled interview time during the callback window

Casting Call: Real Mom and Son Duo for Jewelry Brand Commercial

Job Description
A heartwarming documentary-style commercial for a major jewelry brand is casting a real mother and son based in the New York City area. The campaign will highlight the genuine bond between a mother and her middle-school-aged son through both print and video. This is a non-union, paid opportunity with filming set to take place in both NYC and Prague.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in a two-part campaign: print photography and on-camera video

• Travel to Prague for filming and participate in a local NYC print shoot

• Portray a real, authentic connection between mom and son

• Follow creative direction and remain comfortable in front of the camera

• No acting experience required—natural chemistry is key

Requirements

• Mom and son duo (son aged 8–12, mom of any age)

• Must be based in the NYC area (for local print shoot)

• Must hold valid passports and be available to travel internationally

• Must be available for the following:

  • NYC shoot: May 27 or 28

  • Prague shoot: June 4 or 5 through June 10

• All transportation and lodging for Prague shoot will be covered

• NYC portion requires local availability (no travel/lodging covered)

Compensation

Mom

• TV: $1500/day + $5000 buyout if used, plus $3500 conflict hold

• Print: $1500 + $3500 buyout (3 months), plus $2500 conflict hold

Son

• TV: $700/day + $3500 buyout if used, plus $1000 conflict hold

• Print: $600 + $1500 buyout (3 months), plus $1000 conflict hold
