An original psychological drama short film titled Grief is casting a female actor for the role of Nish. The Connecticut-based production follows a woman struggling with the devastating loss of her child and explores grief, friendship, and emotional support through an intimate dramatic story. Nish is Lena’s loyal and emotionally perceptive best friend. She is caring, protective, and determined to support Lena through an unimaginable loss, even when she does not know what to say.
Job Responsibilities
- Portray Nish in an original psychological drama short film.
- Bring warmth, loyalty, and emotional sensitivity to the character.
- Communicate concern, tenderness, and helplessness through natural nonverbal acting.
- Build believable emotional chemistry with the actor portraying Lena.
Requirements
- Female actor, playing age 18–35.
- African American.
- Strong dramatic and nonverbal acting abilities.
- Able to portray a caring, protective, and emotionally perceptive best friend.
- Connecticut-based or able to travel to Meriden, Connecticut.
