Job Description
A new non-union short film titled “Wound Salt” is casting South Asian actors and actresses for eight upcoming roles. The project will film in the late Spring/Summer and follows a powerful story about betrayal, grief, and a life-changing encounter on a desolate shore.

The film centers on a young man reeling from personal loss and facing a pivotal decision between the weight of his past and the dangerous spark of a stranger who knows his darkest secrets.

This project offers professional film credit and festival and screening entries. While currently unpaid, food and drinks will be provided on set.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray key characters in a dramatic short film

• Participate in scheduled auditions and rehearsals

• Collaborate with the director and creative team

• Deliver emotionally grounded performances in character-driven scenes

Roles

• 7 Roles: Ages 18–35 (South Asian actors and actresses)

• 1 Role: Female, Ages 45+ (South Asian actress)

Requirements

• South Asian actors and actresses

• Non-union performers

• Strong dramatic acting ability

• Submit headshot for consideration

Compensation
