Job Description
A BBC TV drama about the early days of a famous British band is casting male actor-musicians (or musicians with an interest in acting) ages 18–23 to portray band members in an upcoming series. This is a paid Equity job and is open to performers without professional acting experience, as long as they have strong musical ability, the right look/energy, and an authentic Liverpool accent. Filming is expected to take place across the UK and Germany during the spring/summer 2026 window.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray a band member in scripted scenes for a BBC drama series
• Perform as an actor-musician with believable stage presence and character work
• Follow direction for blocking, timing, and continuity across takes
• Be prepared for rehearsals and prep ahead of filming

Requirements

• Male actors/musicians, ages 18–23
• Must have a strong Liverpool accent
• Must be available to shoot in the UK and Germany during the filming window
• Musical ability required (actor-musicians or musicians interested in acting)
• No professional acting experience required
