Job Description
A live entertainment company is seeking talented and enthusiastic performers to bring beloved fantasy-inspired characters to life at children’s events throughout the Manchester and Greater Manchester area. This exciting opportunity is perfect for performers who enjoy creating memorable experiences for families while portraying magical characters at parties and special events. Costumes and wigs are provided, and performers will work on a flexible booking basis.
Job Responsibilities
- Perform as fantasy-inspired characters at children’s parties and events
- Engage with children and families in an entertaining and professional manner
- Deliver interactive performances that create memorable experiences
- Maintain character portrayal throughout appearances
- Travel to event locations within the service area
- Follow company guidelines and performance standards
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Background in performing arts, acting, musical theatre, or entertainment preferred
- Strong confidence performing in front of children and families
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, professional, and enthusiastic personality
- Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
- Ability to work flexible hours based on bookings
Compensation
- Starting pay of approximately £70 for a one-hour event
- Premium costumes and wigs provided
