Job Description
A paid, non-union short film titled “Still Here” is casting Black actors for two lead roles in a heartfelt story about repeated encounters between two strangers and the emotional truth that unfolds over time. Production will take place in Toronto, and the team is seeking performers with strong emotional range and grounded, authentic presence.
Job Responsibilities

Perform a lead role in a narrative short film with emotionally driven scenes.

Collaborate with the director and production team to bring character depth and realism to each moment.

Be prepared for a multi-day shoot and maintain professionalism throughout production.
Requirements

Black actors needed for lead roles.

Roles include: Male (approx. 35–40) and Female (approx. 28–32).

Ability to portray emotional nuance and a wide psychological/physical range (role-dependent).

Demo reel or acting clips required for consideration.
