Job Description

A SAG-AFTRA micro-budget short film is now casting a child actor for an upcoming beach scene filming in the New York/New Jersey area. The production is seeking a young Caucasian child to portray a natural, quiet beach moment in a simple exterior scene.

This role requires no dialogue and focuses on authentic on-camera presence as the child plays by the beach. The production is looking for talent comfortable in outdoor environments and accompanied by a parent or guardian during filming.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in a short film beach scene
• Perform naturally on camera without dialogue
• Follow direction from the production team during filming
• Attend a short exterior beach shoot with a parent or guardian present

Requirements

• Child ages 3–6
• Caucasian
• Must be accompanied by a parent or guardian
• Comfortable in outdoor and beach environments
• Available for flexible shoot dates during the weeks of May 4 and May 11
• Must submit:
  • Recent photo
  • Child’s name and age
  • Parent or guardian contact information
