Designsensory seeks qualified candidates for our senior designer role. We are looking for

someone who can work both independently and collaboratively on campaigns. This individual is

able to problem solve while staying mindful of our clients’ goals and balancing that with our

dedication to craft.

The ideal applicant must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and be

dependable, responsible and professional in manner and appearance. The ideal applicant is

organized, detail-oriented, highly motivated and possesses an ability to work under pressure.

Objectives of this role

  • Lead and review the work of the creative teams on your assigned accounts; across digital, print, video and web
  • Spearhead and manage strategy for both small and large projects, harnessing branding, copy, art, and technology
  • Collaborate with strategy and other departments in developing marketing plans, analyzing results, and identifying opportunities
  • Develop creative campaigns that translate objectives across business units into clear and motivating creative strategies
  • Analyze market trends, consumer needs, and the competitor landscape and craft actionable creative solutions

Responsibilities

  • Based on accounts/projects, lead a team of graphic designers and copywriters in the strategic development of deliverables
  • Guide full account team toward strategic and brand direction
  • Prioritize work and resources across engagements, based on short- and long-term needs, and guide schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters, and production 
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions with creative team, maintaining strategic thinking to develop innovative and actionable initiatives within budget
  • Review and approve content developed by the team, ensuring that deliverables address goals and challenges 
  • Produce fresh, innovative work that translates complex ideas into compelling print materials and digital experiences for sophisticated audiences
  • Create, collaborate on, and oversee final concepts, as well as present work to clients; address feedback and approval

Required skills and qualifications

  • Ten years of experience in a design or copy-intensive role, with at least 1 years as a Creative Director in an agency or corporate setting
  • Design or art direction experience preferred; Copy background must display top-level visual acumen
  • Experience in creating creative/advertising campaigns — from developing the vision and messaging platform to overseeing production on time and within budget
  • Experience in creating integrated content across all marketing channels: digital, social media, paid media, mobile, offline, and print
  • Proven ability to develop successful integrated concepts
  • Proficiency in leading a team of diverse, talented creatives
  • Strong creative vision, with an eye on business objectives

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in marketing or business
  • Experience in project management, with a focus on creative direction

    Designsensory is hiring immediately for a Project Manager to work with our Client Services team.

    The ideal applicant must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills and be dependable, responsible, organized, and detail-oriented.

    A Project Manager for Designsensory will:

    • Work with Account Managers/Project Managers to create project briefs, timelines and project burn rate reports to reflect hours used vs. hours scoped
    • Track project progress in an ongoing way with our planning tools, and alert Account Manager and department leads of any conflicts.
    • Be in office 2-3 days a week.
    • Be able to problem solve and bring solutions when dealing with multiple projects simultaneously
    • Manage project based clients as designated by the Account Manager/Director
    • Participate in weekly production meetings
    • Lead internal client/project specific meetings designed to delegate project deliverables and clarify responsibilities
    • Assist with vendor management and media trafficking
    • Source for needs when projects require outside vendor assistance
    • Provide assistance with travel planning & budget creative – accommodations, rental cars, printing of presentations, etc. with possible light travel
    • Have computer proficiency as required to manage production plans and schedules

    The ideal candidate would possess a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years of agency or media production experience. The candidate should have demonstrated experience in handling multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with digital media or website projects is a plus.
