A weekly sailing and boatlife YouTube channel is seeking a talented Video Editor to join the production team in Houston, Texas. This paid opportunity involves editing engaging 20–30 minute story-driven videos focused on sailing adventures, boat work, travel, and vlog-style content.
The production is looking for a creative editor with strong storytelling skills who can help craft compelling and visually engaging episodes for an online audience.
Job Responsibilities
- Edit weekly sailing and boatlife YouTube videos
- Assemble story-driven vlog content into polished episodes
- Enhance pacing, audio, transitions, and visual flow
- Collaborate with the production team to maintain channel style and branding
- Organize footage and manage project timelines efficiently
- Deliver high-quality edits optimized for YouTube audiences
Requirements
- Experience editing long-form YouTube or vlog-style content
- Proficiency in Final Cut Pro preferred
- Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve accepted
- Strong storytelling and pacing skills
- Ability to meet weekly deadlines
- Interest in sailing, boating, travel, or lifestyle content is a plus
