Job Description
A psychologically driven short film titled Monster is seeking experienced and passionate film professionals to join the production team. This indie short film blends strong emotional storytelling with genre elements and is currently in the script development stage, with a clear goal of a focused festival run. This opportunity is ideal for producers or assistant directors looking to gain meaningful credits, festival exposure, and collaborate on a creatively driven project.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support financing and development efforts, including budgeting, planning, and creative coordination (Producer / Associate Producer role)

  • Assist with on-set operations, scheduling, and directing support during production (Assistant Director role)

  • Collaborate closely with the creative team to help bring the vision of the short film to life

  • Contribute to a professional, respectful, and collaborative indie film set

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Producer, Associate Producer, or Assistant Director (1st or 2nd AD, depending on experience)

  • Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills

  • Passion for independent film, storytelling, and festival-driven projects

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a creative, fast-paced environment

Compensation

  • Appropriate Producer or Assistant Director credit

  • Festival exposure through a targeted festival run

  • Opportunity to grow creatively and professionally with the project
