Job Description
A non-union crime drama short film titled “The Kiss of Judas” is seeking male actors for a story centered on the aftermath of a heist that goes wrong. Filming is planned in the Durham Region (Ontario, Canada) area near a GO Station, with shoot dates to be confirmed. This student/indie-style project is unpaid, but provides valuable on-set experience plus materials that can support an acting reel.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform scripted scenes in a gritty, dramatic tone with strong emotional range

• Collaborate with the director and cast to build believable tension and chemistry

• Take direction quickly and work efficiently in a small production environment

• Maintain professionalism while working with mature subject matter

Requirements

• Non-union talent

• Must be able to work in Durham Region, Ontario (near a GO Station)

• Comfortable with mature themes (including violence/gore)

• Must be comfortable with male-on-male intimacy as required by the story

• Roles being considered:

  • Linden (Male, early 20s): clean-shaven preferred; leader/brains; altruistic

  • Trent (Male, early 20s): facial hair preferred; fiercely loyal; intense

  • Gabe (Male, 16–20): clean-shaven preferred; anxious, fearful; youngest of the group
