Job Description
The feature film The Man I Love is casting musicians to portray instrumentalists in principal roles. Set in late 1980s New York, this powerful drama tells the story of a theater artist living with AIDS who takes on one last meaningful role. Directed by Ira Sachs, the production is seeking talented musicians who can bring authenticity to the film’s atmosphere by performing on camera.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform live instrument playing as part of character portrayal.

• Collaborate with the director and production team to ensure authentic performances.

• Contribute to the film’s period setting and emotional tone.

• Work professionally in a feature film environment.

Requirements

• Open to SAG-AFTRA members and non-union talent.

Compensation
