Casting Call for Non-Union Actors – Video Game Development Project
Job Description:
CP Casting is seeking non-union actors for research and development performance work on a new video game project being developed in the European Union. This is a well-paid opportunity for actors to collaborate on a unique, character-driven project. Selected actors will travel to the EU for performance capture and development work, with all travel and accommodation expenses covered.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform character work for the development of a video game, including research and performance capture.
- Collaborate with the creative team to bring characters to life through acting, improvisation, and emotional depth.
- Attend rehearsals and participate in performance sessions while following the direction of the development team.
- Travel to the European Union and be available for multiple workdays, including paid rehearsals in Massachusetts prior to travel.
Requirements:
- Must be a non-union actor.
- Ability to travel to the European Union with a valid U.S. passport (passport must have at least six months of validity from the travel date, and must not expire before April 30, 2025).
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. and able to travel for up to a week without a visa.
- Availability for preliminary rehearsals in Massachusetts.
- Comfortable portraying the following character roles:
Character Breakdown:
- SYLVIA: Female, 20-30 years old. A tough, intelligent, street-educated character. Strong improvisational skills are required.
- KATE: Female, 20-30 years old. A versatile actor capable of portraying a mix of care, warmth, bluntness, and subtle emotional depth.
- MAX: Male, 40-60 years old. The owner of an old bookshop, Max is a gentle soul who also experiences dementia and psychotic episodes. This role requires an actor who can convincingly portray both sides of this complex character.
Compensation Details:
- Pay: $1,500 for work days.
- $750 for travel days.
- All travel and accommodation expenses are covered.
