Job Description
An independent, student-led production is casting actors for supporting and background roles in Season 3 of a vertical short-form web series. This is a non-union project ideal for those looking to gain on-set experience in a fun, creative environment. Open to talent from early to late 20s and all ethnicities. Filming will take place in Downtown Toronto.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray various crew roles including comedic, chaotic, or awkward characters

• Participate in scheduled filming dates across July 8, 9, 11, and 12

• Follow direction from the production team in a fast-paced indie shoot

• Bring personality and energy to character-driven scenes

• Work collaboratively with student filmmakers

Requirements

• Actors in their early to late 20s

• All ethnicities and gender expressions welcome

• Comfortable with improvisation and expressive character work

• Must be available for the entire shooting period in July

• Roles include:

  • Crew Members: Try to manage chaos on set (preferably female, open to all genders)

  • Flirty Crew Member: Awkward, flirtatious (female)

  • Suspicious Crew Member: Stumbles into backstage secrets (male)

Compensation

• Unpaid, but valuable for gaining production experience and building your reel

• Student-led indie production environment
