Casting Call: Stand-In for TV Drama Production

Job Description
A popular TV drama series is now hiring a stand-in to work on an upcoming episode. The production is seeking a specific match to replicate an actor’s height, build, and skin tone for lighting and camera setup purposes. This is a great opportunity for those with on-set experience or performers looking to gain more behind-the-scenes experience. Filming will take place in Chicago and is open only to locals in Illinois and surrounding border states.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serve as a stand-in for lighting and camera blocking

  • Remain available for a full-day shoot with a flexible start time

  • Follow on-set instructions to help maintain scene continuity

  • Be punctual, professional, and consistent in positioning

Requirements

  • African American males, bald, with medium to light skin tone

  • Age range: 20s to 60s

  • Height: 5’10” to 6’1”; Weight: 160 to 180 lbs

  • Must be local to Chicago or surrounding areas

  • Submit recent color photo and full wardrobe sizes (T-shirt, pants, dress, shoe)

  • Include contact information, age, and any previous stand-in or extra experience

Compensation

  • $180 for 8 hours

  • Time and a half paid after 8 hours
