Job Description
An Austin-based producer and director is seeking three completed short screenplays to develop, direct, and release as part of an upcoming three-season TV mini-series. Each selected screenplay will be produced with Austin-based actors and released as the final episode for its respective mini-series. Writers whose work is chosen will have their script showcased through a full production process including shooting, editing, and final release.
Job Responsibilities

Submit a fully completed short screenplay

Ensure the script features a strong lead role with substantial dialogue

Provide a story that can be realistically produced within a $20K budget

Remain available for communication throughout the selection and production process (if selected)
Requirements

Must be an Austin-based writer

Must submit a finished short screenplay between 5–15 pages

Screenplay must contain a strong lead role with at least 3–4 pages of dialogue-heavy scenes

Roles must not be pre-cast

Script must be producible within a $20,000 budget (writers unsure may still submit)
Compensation

Selected scripts will be produced, filmed, and showcased as part of an upcoming TV mini-series
