Job Description

California Futures Hub is accepting applications for the California Voices Emerging Creator Fellowship, a three-month paid opportunity for rising content creators in California. The program is seeking Asian American and Latino creators in the Bay Area, Central Valley, and Orange County who produce lifestyle-focused content across topics such as food, fitness, gaming, music, parenting, technology, self-improvement, and more. Selected fellows will receive creator training and content coaching while developing content that encourages audiences to think about issues affecting California communities.

Job Responsibilities

• Create engaging lifestyle-focused digital content
• Participate in fellowship training and creator development sessions
• Work with content coaches to strengthen creative skills
• Develop content that introduces audiences to issues affecting California and their communities
• Apply fellowship training to ongoing content creation
• Participate throughout the three-month fellowship

Requirements

• Emerging Asian American or Latino creator
• Approximately 5,000–25,000 followers on any platform
• Creates lifestyle rather than primarily political content
• Interested in helping audiences explore issues affecting their communities
