A production company is seeking an experienced behind-the-scenes documentary videographer to capture the making of Season 2 of the web series Pretty Girl Secrets in Los Angeles. This role involves documenting the entire creative process, from pre-production and rehearsals to filming days and cast interactions. It’s an excellent opportunity for videographers with a passion for documentary storytelling and behind-the-scenes content.

Job Responsibilities

  • Capture behind-the-scenes footage throughout the production.
  • Document pre-production, rehearsals, filming days, and cast interactions.
  • Create authentic documentary-style content that tells the story of the production process.
  • Work independently while collaborating with the production team.
  • Provide your own camera and basic audio equipment.

Requirements

  • Experience shooting documentaries, behind-the-scenes content, or unscripted productions.
  • Strong storytelling and visual filmmaking skills.
  • Comfortable filming cast, crew, and production activities.
  • Able to work independently and capture candid moments.
  • Must have your own camera and basic audio equipment.
  • Available to work in the Los Angeles area during the production schedule.

Compensation

  • Approximately $300 per day.

This is a project-based, on-set role focused on capturing engaging, trend-driven content for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Capture behind-the-scenes and on-set social media content
  • Film TikTok-style vlog content and cast-driven videos
  • Identify and execute trending social media ideas in real time
  • Collaborate with cast and production team to create engaging content
  • Produce fast-turnaround, platform-native short-form videos
  • Help brainstorm and adapt trends to fit the show’s tone and audience

Requirements

  • Experience creating short-form social content (TikTok, Reels, Shorts)
  • Strong understanding of current social media trends
  • Ability to work in fast-paced, on-set production environments
  • Comfortable filming spontaneous and unscripted moments
  • Creative, collaborative, and quick-thinking
  • Portfolio showcasing relevant work required

Compensation

  • Approx. $250/day (negotiable based on experience and involvement)
