Job Description: Planet Entertainment is seeking talented male and female dancers, Bboys, and ballroom dance couples with acrobatics for an exciting performance contract at Studio City Macau. We are looking for multi-skilled performers for both long-term and short-term missions during special events. Rehearsals will take place in Dubai, with performances beginning in Macau.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform in dynamic and high-energy dance routines tailored to Studio City Macau’s entertainment experience.
• Collaborate with choreographers and other dancers to ensure seamless and captivating performances.
• Participate in rehearsals in Dubai prior to the contract start date in Macau.

Requirements:

• Male and Female Dancers: All-black attire required; females should bring both sneakers and heels.
• Bboys and ballroom dance couples with acrobatic skills are encouraged to apply.
• Availability for rehearsals in Dubai and commitment to a performance contract in Macau.
• Physical fitness and strong dance skills are essential; acrobatic experience is a plus for ballroom dance couples.

Compensation:

Planet Entertainment is seeking talented male and female dancers for a long-term contract with Studio City Macau. The dancers will be part of an exciting and dynamic entertainment program. Rehearsals will take place in Dubai, with the performance contract based in Macau. This opportunity is ideal for professional dancers looking for a long-term engagement with a prestigious entertainment venue.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform in various dance shows and productions at Studio City Macau.
• Participate in rehearsals, training, and choreography sessions to maintain performance quality.
• Follow the guidance and direction of choreographers and artistic directors.
• Commit to a full rehearsal schedule in Dubai prior to the start of the contract.
• Ensure physical fitness and maintain the stamina required for regular performances.

Requirements:

• Open to male and female dancers.
• Previous professional dance experience is preferred.
• Strong technical skills in dance, with the ability to adapt to different styles.
• Willingness to relocate to Macau for the contract duration and attend rehearsals in Dubai.
• Must submit a show reel or casting reel as part of the application.

The Bellwether  – Private Events Manager

POSITION: SPECIAL EVENTS MANAGER

STATUS: Salary + Commission 

REPORTS TO: General Manager

We are looking for a competent and skilled Private Events Manager to sell, oversee and execute special events. You’ll ensure events are successful and cost-effective, paying attention to budget and time constraints. An event manager is, above all, a project manager who understands marketing and promotion techniques. We want to see enthusiastic candidates with fresh ideas, organizational skills and a base-level of production knowledge.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all Bellwether special events, tv, commercial and film shoots and other private events as needed. 
• Attend advance meetings/walk thru’s with client, vendors, or artists as needed
• Organize all vendors schedules and their event needs
• Create an event timeline to share with internal team/ production team
• Create a post event summary and notes for GM, partners & venue/production team
• Manage all event costs and communicate to client
• Organize communication with General Manager & events staff 
• Process all event invoices and organize settlements
• Collaboration in creating and updating all sales collateral for venue
• Manage onsite venue support specific to event needs, communicate changes to schedule or support directly to Venue Management
• Field all venue inquiry emails and provide detail on availability, pricing including sales pitches etc.
• Actively sell and promote event opportunities among great Los Angeles community including but not limited to holiday parties, filming opportunities, industry events, weddings, brand activations, etc.

Skills/ Experience Required:

• Excellent interpersonal skills, highly organized, client presentable, solution based thinking and quick thinking and composure in intense situations
• Motivated to create more efficiency in operational processes, communication, and advance methods
• College Degree and 2-4 years of experience  in event management, preferably events of 3k attendance or larger
• Excellent time management in a fast-paced environment. Experience with venue contracting and vendor service buying.
• Excellent knowledge of operational aspects of event production, specifically corporate events
• Ability to work long hours, with various personality types
• Ability to juggle multiple responsibilities with conflicting deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Google Docs. Adobe suite & Vectorworks is a plus
