Job Description
A student production is casting actors for the psychological horror short film Let’s Take a Short Break. The story follows a woman who discovers an unsettling old livestream of a disturbing game show and gradually realizes the nightmare unfolding on screen may not be finished with her yet.

The project is seeking performers for lead, supporting, and ensemble roles in this suspense-driven narrative. This is a student production focused on creating an atmospheric horror short film that explores tension, mystery, and psychological fear.

Job Responsibilities

• Portray characters in a psychological horror short film

• Perform emotionally intense and suspenseful scenes

• Collaborate with the director and production team throughout filming

• Participate in rehearsals and production as required

Requirements

• Katie – Female, ages 26–30. Lead role central to the unfolding psychological mystery

• The Host – Any gender, ages 28–34. A mysterious game show host connected to the disturbing livestream

• Anna Bokovich – Supporting role

• Sam Miller – Supporting role

• Additional ensemble roles available

• Actors ages 16–34 encouraged to apply

• Ability to perform in a psychological horror project

• Previous acting experience or showreel is a plus but not required
