Job Description

Casting is now underway for The Forgotten Transfer, an upcoming short film filming in Baltimore, Maryland this August. Casting directors are seeking talented Black actors for multiple lead and supporting roles across a variety of age groups. This character-driven project offers performers the opportunity to bring emotionally compelling stories to life in an independent film production.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform a lead or supporting role in the short film.
• Deliver authentic and emotionally engaging performances.
• Collaborate with the director and cast throughout rehearsals and filming.
• Follow creative direction and maintain professionalism on set.
• Participate in scheduled filming in Baltimore, Maryland.

Requirements

• Black actors of various ages are encouraged to apply.
• Lead and supporting roles include:
  • Tenom (Female, ages 16–18)
  • Bobbie (Female, ages 15–18)
  • DJ (Male, ages 16–18)
  • Troi (Female, ages 15–18)
  • Miss Om (Female, age 40+)
  • Tenom’s Mother (Female, late 20s–late 30s)
  • Tenom’s Father (Male, late 20s–late 30s)
  • Tenom’s Grandmother (Female, age 50+)
• Must be available to film in Baltimore, Maryland during August.
• Comfortable performing dramatic scenes in a narrative short film.
