Job Responsibilities

  • Review, approve, provide feedback, and own overall quality of all design work for clients. Provide thoughtful, clear, and concise direction to design team in order to hit excellence in quality and ship designs on time.
  • Be a hands on, expert graphic designer and execute on projects as needed. Translate complex written requirements into on-brand deliverables by taking broad concepts and suggestions and condensing them down into a simple, useful, and enjoyable design experience.
  • Collaborate closely with team members and reports to execute designs from conception to completion as well as additional on-going iterations.
  • Produce product designs, digital advertisements, social graphics, marketing emails, design templates, slide decks, and other designed collateral at capacity towards staying ahead of due dates and deadlines. Make revisions quickly and efficiently and spend appropriate time on each deliverable.
  • Recruit, manage, onboard, and advise new designers as the team grows.
  • Concept and craft mockups for tasks to reduce overall design time and help design team understand best path to shipping designs efficiently.
  • Maintain a best-in-class design sense with a consistent approach to quality, cohesive design deliverables. This includes using an established level of talent, ability, and taste to create new designs and expand upon existing design needs from the company and the customer.
  • Follow a structured process that allows for clarity on where projects are in the pipeline. Maintain immaculate records, copies, and libraries of designs for easy location of prior work should it need additional edits as well as opportunity to reuse components, templates, and files for future projects.
  • Prioritize, manage, and update product management software towards transparency and accountability on all design projects.
  • Develop and utilize an intimate knowledge of our content library in order to help us achieve an excellent standard of quality while maximizing efficiency in beautiful design.

Requirements

  • Previous work experience as a Graphic Designer, Art Director, Creative Director, or similar

CREATIVE INTERNSHIP PROGRAM:

Interns will be fully embedded and entrenched in the creative process from brief through production. They will work with multiple teams across brands that encompass some of the most iconic, household names on creative opportunities across all platforms: video (TV, online video, online video), print, radio, digital (websites, banners), and social.

Moonbug is seeking a full time Music Producer to support the Music Department of the successful CoComelon franchise. This role is based in our West Hollywood office in the heart of California. At Moonbug, you will be working with some of the biggest brands in family entertainment; one of the fastest-growing genres in music.

The successful candidate will have a high proficiency in music composition and music production, arranging, orchestration, and writing music briefs for composers to work from. You will need to be organized, detail orientated, and be ready to adapt to new challenges.

We would like to see someone who has been working as a composer in the film/television/animation capacity over the past 3 to 5 years. They should be comfortable working within various music genres, singing vocal guides for our talent, translating notes into musical terminology, and have strong project management skills.

Reporting to the Music Director, you will be helping expand the CoComelon music catalog across various media streams. You will be responsible for creating and producing original songs and nursery rhymes as well as developing and expanding the CoComelon soundscape.

  • Under the direction of the MD, collaborate and follow strategies and processes to maintain and implement across all audio pipelines.
  • Maintain a clear line of communication with the music production team to ensure the flow of assets is seamless.
  • Drive and oversee the process of making music albums/tracks all the way from creative inception to final master stage.
  • Collaborate with relevant IP production coordinator to align on contract requests, purchase orders and metadata.

Essential Requirements

  • Proven track record in music production.
  • Strong understanding of music production from conception to completion (premises, briefs, budgets, deadlines etc).
  • Experience in Cubase and Logic Pro
  • 3-5 years of working within a creative/media environment – essential.
  • Competent user of Google Suite.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop concepts, designs and layouts, collaborating with copywriters and other creatives to produce a high caliber of work
  • Take work from concept to design to final execution on time and efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Present ideas and work effectively to internal teams and clients
  • Establish visual vision and approach to appropriately reflect brand positioning
  • Art direct through final layouts; attend photo shoots, broadcast shoots and all aspects of post-production
  • Possess a spectrum of design skills including designing for social
  • Remain current on industry trends and technology

Required Skills:

  • A self-starter; needs little direction to tackle assignments
  • Stellar ability to distill brand and project strategies into simple, compelling ideas
  • Experience executing integrated productions (video/broadcast, photography, illustration, social, digital advertising, experiential)

Qualifications:

  • Five or more years of agency or relevant experience

About the role:

Reporting into the VP/Digital Studio, Executive Producer, Taste of Home, will supervise the Digital Studio team’s efforts to create short and long-form digital content for TOH’s social channels and O&O site, and participate in the development and production of original series for streaming.

In addition to being a strong manager and coach, the Executive Producer, Taste of Home is a creative video expert with excellent writing skills, a deep understanding of short and long-form video content and production, extensive knowledge of best practices for audience engagement on all social.

With a deep passion for digital entertainment, the Executive Producer can also turn social-first formats into OTT formats and vice versa and has a strong track record of working with advertisers in the branded video space. Ideal candidate has experience with and a passion for DIY, home improvement, renovations, maintenance, and design.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the effective execution of creative vision for the Taste of Home brand in video content
  • Manage all Producers and Associate Producers (APs) and their output
  • Produce and manage all video content and original series video production in conjunction with the studio production team.
  • Manage and track the Brand O&O Revolving Slate
  • Create and present scripts or concept decks to internal leadership
  • Work with CCO/Home & Garden and Content Director/TOH to manage team to establish programming creative and cadence across all major social platforms
  • Work with CCO/Home & Garden and Content Director/TOH to plan original video that aligns with the brand’s annual content themes and global content calendar
  • Deliver projects with the highest quality in a timely manner and on budget
  • Develop workable budgets, work plans and realistic timetables
  • Coordinate internal and external business requirements to define project objectives, tasks and deliverables for projects, including coordinating with in-house creatives, freelancers, cast, crew, and production partners
  • Work closely with social media directors, VP of Digital Studio, and streaming TV executives to execute creative vision cross-platform and cross-product
  • Work with the VP of Digital Studio and Director of Current Programming to develop content and formats that can be utilized on both social and streaming
  • Collaborate with the sales team on preparation of recommendations, strategies and actions for branded content partnerships
  • Work with the CCO/Home & Garden, Content Director/TOH, Community Manager (CM), Associate Producer (AP) to create outreach with influencers for editorial and e-commerce related content
  • Lead by example and be willing to help with the entire spectrum of production work, from small – large budget productions, to community engagement, to posting for the channels

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a senior-level producer, EP, director in a production environment (digital, production, broadcast, post)
  • Knowledge / understanding of standard production / post tech tools and workflow
  • Excellent writer
  • Experience leading large-scale productions
  • Flexible schedule with the ability to work nights / weekends as requested
  • Proficient in Premiere
  • Deep knowledge of and experience creating content for all social platforms (Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Twitch, TikTok, Reddit, Snapchat, etc.)
  • Familiarity and experience working with, casting and recruiting talent, social influencers and creators
  • Passion for the content and subject matter (Food/Lifestyle) that the brand represents
  • Experience executing from inception through editorial and completion of project
  • Strong organizational, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Self-motivated and willing to expand knowledge
  • Solid leadership skills with the ability to communicate strategy and objectives clearly
