Job Description
You’ll lead production for three larger client engagements: Adidas, Beats, and Cash App and oversee a team of Producers (3-5) on individual projects to ensure we meet deadlines, budgets and delivering to the level of quality that Firstborn is known for. You will be responsible for providing mentorship and guidance to grow our team through close working relationships. In addition to your internal project management responsibilities, you will sever as direct client liaison, advocate and escalation point.
Qualifications
As the Executive Producer, your responsibilities will encompass identifying scopes, timing, and budget for potential projects while maintaining schedules, communicating process and status on existing ones, and positioning the work for success through your client relationships. You will be the person who’s going to anticipate problems and opportunities before they arise and come up with creative solutions to any challenges our team might encounter. You will also be responsible for ensuring accurate internal reporting of project status, shifts in schedule and budget, and project-related expenses, to ensure up-to-date and accurate executive decisions making.
Key Duties
- Lead teams to identify project scopes, project plans, and author or approve the related SOWs.
- Lead teams to deliver projects on strategy, on time, and within budget.
- Manage production teams and the process on all jobs from a high-level to ensure consistency across projects within an account and serve as an escalation point to our client and internal team
- Driver of culture and inclusivity within the team and production partners
- Conduct resource and requirement gathering meetings with the client along with Firstborn’s core team
- Oversee QA process alongside the technical and production lead
- Communicate project revenue changes, account status, and potential new project opportunities to Firstborn’s executive team
- You are a skilled, creative, and confident presenter and negotiator

Documentary Series, Law&Crime Network
We have an immediate opening for a freelance, temporary hire Associate Producer to join Emmy award-winning investigative journalists Brian Ross and Rhonda Schwartz in the production of a new documentary series for the Law&Crime Network. We’re seeking candidates with prior experience on long form projects, with a journalism background and strong producing and writing skills.
The AP will assist producers with all aspects of story development and producing including research, booking interviews and coordinating field shoots. The AP will also be involved in archival photo and video research, preparing transcripts and organizing elements for writers and video editors and various production work as needed.
Requirements:
We are looking for entry-level applicants with at least two years of prior film production experience preferably on a long form project or series, or a graduate degree in journalism or film studies with hands on producing experience.
We are a collegial team looking for someone who is enthusiastic, high energy, and highly organized. This is an ideal opportunity for an entry level candidate interested in a career in long-form news and documentary broadcast production.

The Role
The TripleLift CTV Creative Writer/Producer brings a superior creative eye and experience to our group, delivering superb creative in the form of writing, video production, animation, visual design, and more for our new Advanced Advertising division. Working closely with the CTV VP of Creative and the Director of Post-Production Operations, our Writer/Producer will lead the creative charge in developing and producing external ad campaign assets as well as marketing and sales materials for our business organization.

Responsibilities

- Work closely with internal creative team and manage external resources to craft creative, including VP of Creative, Director of Post-Production Operations, writers, editors, designers, animators, VFX team, and more.
- Ideate and bring creative inspiration to individual projects as well as to the team as a whole.
- Manage deadlines and production schedules to ensure timely deliveries of all projects.
- Source and review video footage and other visual assets for use in development of creative projects.
- Oversee CTV Creative team members and delegate production tasks amongst collaborators.

Desired Skills And Attributes
- A Bachelor’s degree in television production, marketing, advertising, communications, or a related discipline is preferred, though candidates with relevant experience who hold other degrees will be considered.
- 6-8 years of experience at a creative agency, television or entertainment environment in a promo/brand marketing/creative services organization.
- Strong creative eye and writing skills (creative and administrative).
- Comfortable with post-production terminology and project directives.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently as well as manage multiple projects at one time.
- Great attitude and ability to manage and direct team members (internal and external).
- Detail oriented with excellent presentation and organizational skills.
- Knowledge and experience in the television/entertainment industry as well as the ad tech industry is a plus.
