**Casting Call for UCLA film!**

Hey there! FPS is filming a short film, and we are looking for actors!

The rate for each role is copy/meal/credit.

You must be available Saturday, October 30 or Sunday, October 31 for auditions, and for our shoot dates of November 13 and 14. We are looking for the following roles:

Role 1: Clio is a 16-year-old girl in high school. While she does not like to admit it, she does care about her studies. She was raised by her mom and lives with her mom and her cousin Randy. She has a tense relationship with her mother because her mother is tough on her and overprotective, partially because she was born very prematurely. Clio hides her desire to study, as well as who she is friends with. She is secretly dating a boy, who makes her happy, but she cannot tell her mother as her mother does not want her to date.

Role 2: Jenny is 36 years old. She is the mother of Clio, who she is very protective of. She raised Clio on her own after Clio was born prematurely, and she also has housed her nephew Randy. She cares about Clio’s future, so she is very focused on Clio studying and making friends with people who she sees as good influences. She became pregnant at a young age and has a ‘crazy’ past. She likes EDM and is still young in many ways. She is concerned about Clio falling down the same path as her, so she tries to keep Clio away from dating or people who she sees as bad influences. While there is tension between her and Clio, she loves her daughter very much and only wants what’s best for her.

Role 3: Randy is the 20-year-old nephew of Jenny, and the cousin of Clio. He is easygoing and fun to be around. After living with Jenny and Clio, he has found his own apartment and will be moving out. While everyone will miss him, this is a good choice for him and he is happy to move.

Role 4: Grandma Lee is an old woman and the mother of Jenny. Grandma Lee is very proud of Clio and her accomplishments so far. She believes that it is about time for Clio to start dating, as she met her own husband at only twelve years old.

Role 5: Grandpa Frank Lee is the father of Jenny and the grandfather of Clio. He met his wife when they were 12 years old.

Role 6: The boy is Clio’s boyfriend. He is 16 years old and goes to school with Clio. He is funny and kind and makes Clio happy. He thinks that Jenny is funny from the stories Clio tells him about her, but they have never met.

Lead roles:
1 – Rei
One of the strongest demons in Inferno and one who terrified many of them. The
Dark One. He is sarcastic and always speaks with dark humor.

3 – Asmodei
A succubus. The disciple of Lilith. Asmodei is used to being a queen, achieving whatever she wants, using the other demons.
She is ambitious, stubborn, caustic, and very proud.

This role requires some discreet nudity to justify the nature of the succubus. Every scene with such elements discusses with the actor to find the more acceptable variant.

4 – Belphegor
A lower-class demon. The disciple of Baalberith. Parents put great hopes in him, but he had not lived up to them, although he tried very hard. The more they wanted, the less he could. Like Sid, he is too kind for a demon. Very talented and smart, but too insecure to demonstrate his abilities.

5 – Marlock

2 – Azariel

A human. A holy father of St. Baldred’s Church, who is also its head. He is expressive, tries to help people, but he has a criminal past, and sometimes it shows up (for example, his love of money).

A bartender. He saw many things in life, so he is very calm, and it is very difficult to surprise him. But he is also smart enough and has a sharp tongue, so he knows how to shut someone down. He  early realized his homosexual orientation, which his family could not accept. He had to leave the university and start working to live separately. Now, he plans to go to a medical university.

5 – Ignis Rothalla
An acolyte of the Abyss. She is the eldest of Rothalla and can hear the will of the Abyss. She despises other worlds and prefers to visit them only if she has an order. She is strict, executive, and does not like to waste time on stupid things.

Southern California Ghostbusters Fans

We are searching for FAMILIES and GROUPS of FRIENDS for a PAID GHOSTBUSTERS EVENT

This is a PAID (Non-Union) live fan event for the upcoming Ghostbusters Afterlife movie. This event will be filmed, an interviews with the fans will be cut into promotional videos for the new movie.

Fans will participate in a fun event in Los Angeles. (Everyone must work as an LA local). Production requires everyone working on the project to be fully vaccinated

Seeking:

Groups of Friends or Families with children over 12 (also open to Spanish / English bilingual groups/families)

• Candidates must be 12 or older
• Must be legal to work int he United States
• Must be willing to work as a LA local (non travel or accommodations provided)
• Accepting self-taped videos no later than 8:00 pm PT Sunday, 10/24

Ohlone College (Fremont Campus) is hosting a casting for the Fall 2021 Beginning Film Production Class.

We are casting a cute 2-4 year old boy who can follow basic direction! This is a three day shoot in LA.

The film is a comedy and is a great way to get children started and interested in acting and makes for a fun weekend project!

We at DSCasting are working on a special video series with a MARQUEE PLAYER ON THE GOLDEN STATE WARRIORS, and looking for dynamic, amazing high school & college ATHLETES in the BAY AREA to feature!!

Our ideal student athletes are:

• MORGAN MCQUAID (14-16 years old) – A.K.A THE RANDOM GIRL WHO IS ALWAYS QUOTING THE MATRIX – (freshman) Lisa’s randomly assigned roommate. Wears tiny sunglasses and is always referencing the red pill and the blue pill. Her real name is Morgan. She will begin as a running joke, but Lisa – desperate to have other people to hang out with besides Ari – will befriend her. Eventually Morgan will become a full character. She is loyal, calm in scary situations, and a little too into conspiracy theories. She starts the 411, a forum dedicated to posting about the Matrix but ultimately it takes on a life of its own as a digital rumor mill. 
• FELICITY WILD (15-17 years old)– (sophomore or junior) – a Blair Waldorf wannabe.  Befriends Lisa after Lisa turns on Ari. Hears a discipline case about Molly mid-season and argues against her. 
• ASHLEY SMITH (15-17 years old) – (sophomore or junior) Felicity’s best friend and second in command. Starts the season entirely in line with Felicity, but begins to find her own voice. 
• MS. GARCIA (25-40 years old) – Molly’s American Lit teacher. Ms. Garcia recognises a special talent in Molly and encourages her to do better in her classes. 

Male Roles:

• RHYS WALKER (15-17 years old) – (junior) – the playboy at Crown Lake, popular and charming and a little bit smarmy. He gets mistaken for Molly in a photo of Ari hugging someone who appears to be in the boys uniform.
  HANK LAMB – (M, 40’s-50’s) – The Groundskeeper/Handyman. A bit run-down and quiet, he will be an unsettling presence on campus, and is the subject of rumors and unfounded fears, think Boo Radley.  He’s been at Crown Lake for years, and was implicated in a fire five years ago that resulted in the suspension of Nellie, Chloe and Tiffany. This season, this portrait of him will become more complicated when we find out he is actually Danny’s father. 
• STEVEN – (M, 40s-50s) – Molly’s stepfather and an alumni/donor of the school
