BACKGROUND CASTING CALL NOTICE

Waldron Casting is seeking 9 to 15 year old African American Boys for NON-UNION Background work on Wu-Tang: An American Saga portraying kids stealing from a bodega for summer season exteriors & interiors in the early 1970s. Must be ok working around atmospheric smoke and being dressed in and having their hair and makeup done for the 70s. The Non-Union background rate is $165 for the day.

“This production has a mandatory vaccination policy and requires all cast & crew to be vaccinated with the COVID-19 vaccine (Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson) or have a disability or sincerely held religious belief that prevents vaccination. It would involve Covid-19 tests on:

Tuesday May 10th in Brooklyn NY at the Brooklyn Navy Yard for both child and parent
**Must attend test and the child will be paid $100**

Then it would involve the work on:
Thursday May 12th in Newark, NJ (Parent/Guardian that tests will need to accompany the minor)
You would be required to follow covid-19 protocol and wear a mask at all times and follow social distancing.
You would be wearing a KN95 mask. You would only be able to take it off while cameras are rolling per SAG/AFTRA protocol.

ANYONE (REGARDLESS OF VACCINE STATUS) WHO CAN ASSIST IN THE SEARCH FOR YOUNG INFANTS (6-10 WEEK-OLDS, TWINS PREFERRED) WILL RECEIVE AN $80 FINDER’S VOUCHER IF THEIR RECOMMENDATION MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS BELOW

Pay is GUARANTEED and will be $250/10 a day with time and a half for every hour of overtime. Call time could be as early as 5:30am and Filming days can last up to 12+ hours so please come prepared. Parents/Guardians will also receive an additional bump in pay of $80 for getting a COVID test prior to filming.

Job Summary:

Peoplefun is looking for a Content Producer to aid the team in creating content and is passionate about supporting the art team as they work from concept to final delivery.

The ideal candidate is a producer who can handle the overall product/project management, development schedules, and maintain communication between both internal and external teams. This role is responsible for coordinating art tasks, iteration, and anticipating and identifying potential problems, bottlenecks, quality concerns, unanticipated scope changes, feature creep, etc., and ensuring that such issues are resolved quickly.

Responsibilities:

• Use Jira to track priorities and statuses of assets while in the pipeline
• Assist Art Team Leads with communication and organizing with outsourced contractors.
• Create and maintain a roadmap and timetable for asset production for the art team.
• Work with the team to define deliverables and set timelines.
• Facilitate planning meetings and organize releases.
• Oversee and enable communication with other project producers and be able to flag any issues
• Provide leadership to the team by giving clear guidance, timelines, and goals
• Review products/features to ensure quality and consistency
• Be able to troubleshoot and resolve production problems

Requirements

• 2+ years of sprint planning and/or project management
• Strong project and people management skills
• Proven ability to focus on priorities, solve problems, juggle multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
• At least one shipped game prefer 2 – 3 mobile games shipped
• Management and experience with Live Products
• Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively across a spectrum of departments
• Superior scheduling, organizational, and multi-tasking skills with the ability and desire to work in a fast-paced game studio environment
• Proficient in Jira, Slack, and Google suite (Specifically Drive and sheets)
• Familiarity with the art pipelines and 2D, 3D, and animation tools

Preferred Experience but not Required:

• You’re a gamer. You eat, sleep and breathe games.
• Technical understanding of Unity and production flows in development repositories(Github)
• Experience in mobile and F2P gaming
