ATLANTA – Background Casting Notice 

SHOWTIME TV SERIES

–VARIOUS FEATURED *MUSICIAN TYPES* NEEDED–

Pay RATES:  

Filming dates $350.00/8 (per member)

 (+$20 gas bump for Covington filming locations)

Covid Test & Fitting dates $84.00/day (**NOTE: this rate is contingent on you showing up to work on set and will be paid in installments – $34.00/day guaranteed base rate for initial test/fitting with an additional $50.00/day (for each test/fitting) allowance added to your voucher on your work date. If you do not show up for the filming date, you will not be eligible for and will forfeit the $50/day allowance for any tests/fittings but will still be paid the $34/day guarantee)

Test/Fitting Location: COVINGTON, GA

Filming Location: TBD Atlanta area or Covington

MUSICIAN TYPE #1:

• PIANIST – Male Caucasian, age range 30-70, must be proficient at piano playing to recreate a scene from a 1940s inauguration. Will be miming to playback but should be able to play the song if asked (we can provide in advance)

Dates Needed: Covid Test 9/7, Fitting 9/8, Covid Retest 9/9, Filming 9/11

MUSICIANS TYPE #2:

• STRING QUARTET (Viola, Cello, 2 Violins) – Male or Female, all ethnicities, age range 25-75, must be experienced string musicians and prefer an existing quartet that plays together. Will be miming to playback but should be able to play the song if asked (we can provide in advance)

Dates Needed: Covid Test 9/10, Fitting 9/11, Covid Retest 9/14, Filming 9/16

MUSICIANS TYPE #3:

• JAZZ/SWING BAND or MUSICIANS that play these instruments (2 Trumpet, 2 Sax, Drums, Piano) – Male, African American, age range 20-70, must be experienced individual musicians or an actual group that plays. Will be miming to playback but should be able to play the song if asked (we can provide in advance)

Dates Needed: Covid Test 9/14, Fitting/Covid Retest 9/15, Filming 9/17

CARTER’S CASTING:

Need the sizes listed below Only, if your child isn’t EXACTLY the sizes, please don’t submit. NEED SPECIAL NEEDS CHILDREN IN ALL GROUPS.

You must be Available between 9/25 to 9/28. You won’t be needed on all the dates, but must be available, shoot is in Atlanta.

Submission Deadline is Noon Monday, 9/6.

Shoot Dates: 

Filming begins OCT 5 and goes until DEC16.  Looking for someone with open flexible availability Monday-Friday from 10/5-12/16

Regular Covid Testing will also be required

Pay RATES:

ROLE CASTING – WINSTON FEGLEY PHOTO DOUBLE

• Can be Male or Female, Caucasian, age range 18-40, brown hair. This is for a Photo Double for a 12 year old boy so height & weight range as short & thin as possible – actor is 4’11” and weighs 95lbs. (see photo for reference) Prefer someone with previous Standin or on-set experience but not required. This will work as both a Standin and Photo Double

We are looking to hire 1 beautiful lead model for an amazing young R&B singer’s music video shoot during the last week of September

• Talent must be no taller than 5’6 and will be playing the role of his “LOVE INTEREST.”

ROLE CASTING – HOTEL GUESTS, PEDESTRIANS, JOB SEEKERS(1948)

• Male & Female, Caucasian/African American/Asian, Age range 20s-60s, natural looking, conservative. 
• Men-suit jacket size 36-42, waist size 30-38, smaller average sizes to accommodate period clothing. 
• Ladies – waist sizes 24-30″, bust size 32-38″, no larger than a C cup

NO colored hair, NO modern/quirky haircuts, NO shaved bald heads. NO locs/braids/twists. NO visible tattoos or piercings (any arm/leg/wrist/ankle tattoos will not be accepted). Men should be willing to be clean-shaven – no facial hair other than a small period appropriate mustache. Men MUST be willing to allow Hair Dept to give you a period appropriate hair cut (will be paid $15 if they need to cut your hair). This scene takes place in 1948.
