MOANA

[MOANA] Actor to play character that is Female, 16, Pacific Islander, heroic, bold, and adventurous, Moana, the daughter of their village’s Chief, feels isolated on her home island of Motunui, yearning for purpose and curious about what lies beyond their reef.

Despite her father’s protests and encouragement by her Gramma’s motivation, the intuitive and courageous Moana embarks on a dangerous quest, sailing beyond the reef and using her strength and intelligence to overcome epic obstacles. Although following her curiosity and searching for her own identity, Moana is never selfish, she is determined to fulfill the quest of her ancestors and save her people…STRONG SINGER

We are looking for a:

• Kid ages 5-12 with a prosthetic arm or leg, etc. for an upcoming Disney shoot. 

Adventures by Disney Commercial Casting

We’re seeking:

• Real adventurous families and couples nationwide to go on a weeklong adventure in South Africa for an Adventures by Disney commercial. Experience wildlife, awe-inspiring nature, and the amazing people and cultures of South Africa. 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR: 

• FAMILY 1:
  • 2 Kids (ages 11-16)

• FAMILY 2:
  • 2 Kids (ages 8-16)

  • 2 Grandparents 
• COUPLE:
  • ages 40-55
  • same sex couples 

WHEN: 

Zoom callback: May 23

Filming: Third week of August. Exact Dates TBD. Participants should expect to be in South Africa for 10 days with 6 days of filming. Total 12-14 days commitment (this includes international travel time)  

WHERE: South Africa (see Adeventures by Disney’s current travel offerings to get a sense of what to expect) 

COMPENSATION: 

• $2500 per person (+20% agent’s commission) 
• $110 per person daily stipend for in-country days (10 days) 

USAGE: Non-Union shoot. Usage TBD. 

MUST:

• Be real families or couples 
• Adventurous with travel experience 
• Have active passports
• Not afraid of animals 
• Be in active health 

Adventures by Disney is a subsidiary of Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products’s Signature Experiences division that provides group-guided family vacations to various domestic and international destinations.

Project Union Status: Non-Union

Usage/Run:  Standard Disney Release – all media worldwide, in perpetuity. The rates are higher on this shoot because we’re hoping to get new talent who’s not yet shot a Disney project with us. We’re still open to repeat talent as well, though.

Project Synopsis: “EPCOT Magic of Possibilities”- MOP D100 UPDATE PROJECT $1,000/PER WORKING DAY $250 FOR FITTING DAY $250/ONE TIME TRAVEL ALLOWANCE PER PERSON IF TRAVELING FROM 90 OR MORE MILES OUTSIDE OF ORLANDO 20% AGENCY FEE THIS IS A TOTAL BUYOUT – all media in perpetuity – video and/or photo all-inclusive  

CONSIDERATIONS: SHOOTS ARE CURRENTLY SCHEDULED FOR OVERNIGHT 5/3 INTO 5/4 AND OVERNIGHT 5/4 INTO 5/5/23. ASK TALENT IF THEY’VE APPEARED IN DISNEY COMMERCIAL PROJECTS RECENTLY. IF SO, WHEN? ASK TALENT IF THEY’VE APPEARED IN ANY OTHER THEME PARK COMMERCIAL PROJECT RECENTLY. IF SO, FOR WHOM AND WHEN. ANY DIETARY RESTRICTIONS?

Additional Provisions: Talent MUST work as local hire to Orlando as production is not budgeted for hotel, gas, per diem, etc. In-person fitting in Orlando is mandatory. Fitting most likely on Saturday 03/25, possibly Sunday 03/26
