Billy Dowd casting is seeking BACKGROUND EXTRAS for the movie “Boston Strangler”

Seeking:

We’re booking SAG and Non Union fully vaccinated Background for a TV Show coming to Las Vegas on Tuesday night, February 1, and for Wednesday night, February 2.  You can only work one night. 

SAG Background rate plus overtime and Non Union rate of $120 for 8 hours plus overtime are the rates. 

These will be all nighters.  

Ideally starting around 9:30 PM but this could change.  

Tuesday night will be outside so looking for people to play Tourists and Pedestrians.  Also for Tuesday night, we need Showgirls with their own costumes and headdress, a Bachelorette Party group of gals, 

Valet and Bellmen, drivers with cars (please include picture of car too and let me know the year, make, and color of car), a woman who can play the ukulele, Elderly gamblers in motorized wheelchairs, Drag Queens.  

Wednesday night will be inside the Planet Hollywood Casino.  So looking for Gamblers, Dealers, Cocktail Waitresses, etc. 

Asian Tourists, Cowboy types, etc. 

There will be a paid Covid Testing day 2 days prior to shoot day.  $100 for SAG and $50 for Non Union. 

Showtime’s Three Women Casting Call

SAG/NON-SAG White, Brunette Toddler Twins or Singular child (ages 16-26 months) to portray PHOTO DOUBLE of principal’s son for new Showtime series, “THREE WOMEN” : 

  • Covid Test: Tues 1/25 in LIC
  • Tentative Shoot: Wed 1/26, Fri 1/28, Mon 1/31 and other TBD dates

The department

Distribution is responsible for the marketing, promotion, and ongoing development of our product offering, for both institutional and intermediary channels globally. The Multimedia team within Global Marketing is a comprehensive in-house resource for all video, podcast, and photography requirements in support of building the Janus Henderson brand. The team is responsible for the recording and editing all video and podcast content for Janus Henderson clients. The team uses an in-house studio facility to record high quality interviews using high quality cameras and lighting equipment.

Overview of the role

The successful candidate will be required to support the Head of Multimedia and the business with advanced multimedia requirements. The role will require the candidate to assist the Multimedia team in delivering an in-house agency model, providing next-level professional results with a focus on delivering:

  • High quality corporate videos including live streaming of events.
  • High quality portrait photography using professional studio setup
  • High quality animations using After Effects in enhancing all video content

Duties and responsibilities

You will:

  • Deal with advanced animation skills across video, banners and infographics
  • Film, edit and export corporate videos
  • Have strong understanding of digital SLR photography with professional lighting techniques
  • Record, edit and host podcasts for both internal and external clients
  • Support the team in the development of new products, templates and systems that streamline our processes and are suitable for Janus Henderson and external client needs
  • Deal with the operation of the live broadcasting to TV networks using our in-house GlobeLynx system
  • Provide prompt, efficient service to clients ensuring delivery to agreed deadlines
  • Have experience with supporting external events with filming presentations, post video content and photography
  • Have expert knowledge of live streaming video content across the web and virtual platforms
  • Have experience building relationships with stakeholders, including communicating and collaborating across teams and functions
  • Be customer-focused and able to identify the needs of each individual client by tailoring corporate guidelines to meet their needs within brand capabilities
  • Possess the ability to work well under pressure and to be able to work well within a team environment and on own initiative

  • Directing and supporting live streaming virtual hybrid events using multi camera setup

  • Medium skills CC Audition, modifying sound imperfections within recordings
