Job Description: “From the Inside Out” is a groundbreaking editorial project that aims to challenge and redefine societal perceptions of beauty, particularly in relation to chronic conditions like psoriasis. This video project will spotlight individuals working within the beauty, fashion, or wellness industries—models, hairstylists, makeup artists, designers, dancers, etc.—who live with psoriasis, turning what many might see as a vulnerability into a celebrated aspect of their identity and strength.

As a participant, you will be sharing your story and how you navigate the world of external beauty standards while managing your condition, illustrating that it can even be a superpower.

Job Responsibilities:

• Participate in a one-day video shoot, sharing your personal journey with psoriasis while working in the public eye of the beauty, fashion, or wellness industry.
• Engage in various filming activities, including interviews, behind-the-scenes footage, and themed photo shoots, as required by the project’s editorial direction.
• Collaborate with the production team, including directors, photographers, and other crew members, to bring your story to life in a way that aligns with the project’s vision.

Requirements:

• Currently work in the public eye within the beauty, fashion, or wellness industry (e.g., model, hairstylist, makeup artist, designer, dancer, etc.).
• Have a personal journey with psoriasis that you are willing to share publicly.
• A social media following is highly beneficial but not strictly required.
• Availability for a one-day shoot during the week of April 8.
• Must be able to complete necessary pre-shoot paperwork (startwork) and a timecard post-shoot. Invoicing for labor will not be accepted.
• Must provide current I9 documents if claiming as an individual and complete a Talent Appearance Release for the shoot.

Compensation:

• Talent Fee: $4,500 (less applicable State and Federal Withholdings), paid via Media Services Payroll.
