Will Smith reveals how he became The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Will Smith has recently joined social media and quickly taken over Instagram and YouTube as one of Hollywood’s biggest influencers, celebrities, and entertainers. Will Smith’s secret to social media success? I firmly believe it is his honesty and ability to relate to the rest of the world.
Last week, he has delivered little videos of him giving advice and telling stories. One such story explains how Smith became the lead role in The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which ran for six seasons throughout the ‘90s.
In the clip below, he talks about how he and DJ Jazzy Jeff’s third album didn’t meet expectations, resulting in him possibly going broke. Through the string of events, however, he found himself in the home of Quincy Jones where Smith began an impromptu audition for the show.
