Pilot season is almost here and it is one the most exciting time periods for any actor. During pilot season, actors are given the opportunity to audition for tens if not hundreds of possible TV shows, short films, and made for TV movies.
This is the point in time where actors audition for the first episodes of TV shows such as The Walking Dead, Grey’s Anatomy, and Supergirl.Â
And while many shows do not make it past pilot season, it can turn a relatively unknown actor to an Emmy Award Winner.
Recently, casting director, Erica Arvold, broke down everything an actor needs to know in order to get into and survive Pilot Season.
