Cameraman Accidentally Destroys $200,000 Cinema Camera [VIDEO]

Date:

Watch this guy destroy an insanely expensive camera.

Getting an amazing shot requires special camera gear, like a Steadicam rig. It also requires a skilled cameraman to do it, unlike the man in the video below.

Demonstrating a stabilizing rig at the recent Cine Gear Expo in Los Angeles, a camera man forgot to keep a secure hold on the Arri digital cinema camera it was supporting, resulting in a huge mistake.

The camera crashed to the ground and was destroyed. Apparently, the camera cost upwards of $100,000 depending upon the lens and other accessories attached to it.

To make matters worse, this camera wasn’t covered by any kind of production insurance and the only thing the guy got out of showing off was this viral video of him screwing up.
