Winter Storm Halts TV & Film Productions

Date:

Winter Storms Halt Productions

The winter snow storm continues to halt productions throughout the southeast regions, New York, as well as, Philadelphia.

Not only were several productions affected by the winter storms but theaters were also affected.

At least 40 AMC movie theaters closed, 60 Regal theaters closed, and at least 11 theaters throughout the Atlanta area.

It is not know the exact number of productions that were affected in New York City but it is clear that many productions decided to re-open their offices by Friday.

Productions that have stopped filing due to the winter storms include:

  • ‘The Vampire Diaries’ on the CW Network
  • ‘The Leftovers’ on HBO
  • ‘Turn’ on AMC
  • ‘Rectify’ on Sundance TV
  • ‘Halt & Catch Fire’ on AMC
  • ‘The Americans’ on FX

Despite many productions closing their offices throughout New York, Broadway productions did not halt any shows!
