HBO’s television series starring Matthew McConaughey and Woody Harrelson has become a hit.
Reading the synopsis of the television series, you would assume that this is just another television cop drama. Two unlikely detectives matched together to solve a crime. But, as Nic Pizzolatto and directory Cary Fukunaga demonstrate it is more than just that.
The show centers on an investigation on a ritual killing in Louisiana. Seventeen years later those same detectives, both having quit the force, find themselves being interrogated seperately about the case and about their own relationship. Is their a new killer? Are they the killers? Each episode keeps you wanting more and more?
The case is centered on a naked girl with antlers on her head posed like a ritual sacrifice with a “devil catcher” hanging in the trees.
