Tyler Perry just signed a four-movie deal with Amazon.
Tyler Perry, an Atlanta media mogul, has made deals in the past with TBS, OWN, Lionsgate, Viacom and Netflix. He most recently signed a four-movie deal with Amazon Prime.

“I’m excited and grateful to start working with Amazon Studios to bring movies to Prime Video,” said Perry in a press release. “I’m looking forward to continuing telling unique stories and bringing my next projects to the global audiences that they reach.”
Some of his most recent films have been released on Netflix, such as the thriller “A Fall From Grace”, comedy “A Madea Homecoming” and historical fiction drama “A Jazzman’s Blues” – which is his first. His current TV shows are airing on Viacom’s BET, BET+ streaming service and Nickelodeon channels, including “The Oval”, “Assisted Living”, “Bruh”, “Sistas”, “Zatima” and finally “Ruthless”. He writes and directs all content for these shows single-handedly at Tyler Perry Studios.
