Last Night’s Walking Dead Episode Had an Amazing Johnny Depp Cameo

Date:

Johnny Depp appeared in last night's Walking Dead episode and it was amazing.

This week's gut-wrenching episode of The Walking Dead had it all. , marriage, and tons upon tons of cold-blooded .

The  Spoiler Alert.

To fool Negan's Survivors into thinking they Gregory, the dream team of Andy, Jesus and Rick have to decided which of three decapitated looks the most like the hilltop leader. None of them are exactly right because “the nose is a different shape,” according to Jesus, so Rick does some impromptu plastic surgery and punches a dead zombie's face.

But, if Head #3 looks familiar, that's because you've seen a ton of  movies. Apparently, Walking Dead  Greg Nicotero told Entertainment WEekly that it was intentionally modeled after Johnny Depp.

One of the other heads, I don't know if I'm going to get in trouble if I say this, was Johnny Depp. I think we had sculpted an emaciated version of a dummy head for something and we used Johnny Depp's head as a basis just for a clay sculpt. I can't remember who the third one is, but I'm in good company. Norman [Reedus] kept saying he wanted the heads when we were done shooting. I said we've got to wait until the picture is logged. This is not the first time Hollywood used real famous people's faces for decapitated heads. In fact,  featured a decapitated head that looked like George W. Bush's.

While, The Walking Dead's Johnny Depp face is sure to inspire less , for many it was an entertaining easter egg.
