Georgia’s film industry is booming. But, do you want to join the growing Atlanta film, music, and entertainment industry?
Well, we have good news for you because some of Georgia’s biggest production offices and companies are now hiring a ton of positions.
According to Choose ATL, “Atlanta is home to 5.6 million people and more than 150,000 businesses. Atlanta’s diverse economy, global access, workforce, low costs of business and living, and vibrant quality of life are reasons to choose Atlanta.”
The film and television industry in Georgia generated more than $6 billion during the 2015 fiscal year, and over 30,000 working entertainment professionals call Georgia home.
Here are some of the biggest Film/TV companies hiring in Georgia:
EUE/Screen Gems Studios Atlanta
EUE Screen Gems is a 10-stage, 33-acre Atlanta studio complex with sound stages offers 212,000 square feet of production space and 40,000 square feet of furnished office space. Opened in 2010 by the Cooney family, the studios are 10 minutes away from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport with hourly flights daily to and from Los Angeles and New York City and five minutes from downtown luxury hotels. Georgia’s film, entertainment, and digital tax credits of up to 30 percent were a key part of the decision to develop new stages in Atlanta.
Pinewood Atlanta Studios
Pinewood Atlanta Studios is a full service film and entertainment studio complex comprised of six sound stages on 288 acres in Fayetteville, just south of Atlanta. This is a world-class studio purpose built for the production of film, television, music and video games.
Raleigh Studios
Raleigh Studios is the largest independent studio operator in the country, offering sound stage, office and support space. Partnering with Raleigh Film, Hollywood Rentals, Olesen Lighting and ESS combine to form Raleigh Entertainment, Raleigh can service nearly any production with more services and more locations worldwide.
