Science Teacher Busted for a Real ‘Breaking Bad’ Scandal

Date:

A New Mexico science teacher is under arrest for manufacturing and possession of methamphetamine, which sounds eerily like the plot of AMC’s hit TV drama Breaking Bad.

John W. Gose, an ex-science teacher in El Paso, New Mexico was pulled over by cops and was found with an ice cooler full of meth cooking supplies that would make the cast and crew of Breaking Bad feel like heading out into the desert.

Once authorities found the starter kit in his car, their first stop was to check out what was going on at his house. Cops found a pound of meth with an estimated street value of $44,800. Now Gose faces up to 20 years and six months behind bars.

This is not the first time someone followed in the footsteps of Walter White. In 2012, cops busted a High School teacher in Texas selling meth in the school’s parking lot and in 2013, a meth kingpin actually named Walter White was busted for possession of meth and firearms.
