Fox’s Empire ratings drop 12 percent and hit season 2 lows.
The love for Fox’s hit TV series Empire maybe coming to an end as the hip-hop drama has hit series low ratings on Wednesday night. Despite, record setting American Idol ratings on Wednesday, people didn’t stick around to watch what Cookie and Luscious Lyon are doing.
According to TVLine, Empire, ratings drop 12 percent to it’s lowest numbers since Thanksgiving’s mid-season finale, which is not a good sign for the once record breaking TV series. However, the show still was able to draw in 11.3 million viewers and 4.2 in the key demographic.
Many fans took to Twitter to voice their frustrations with the second season of Empire.

But, Empire was not alone as ABC’s Modern Family and Black-ish ratings hit series low ratings.
With their first originals against Empire Season 2B, Modern Family (7.4 mil/2.2) and black-ish (5.5 mil/1.6) slipped two and three tenths in the demo, respectively, hitting and tying series lows. [TVLINE]
