The reviews for Netflix’s Daredevil are not looking too good..
A lot of people seem to hate the new season of Netflix’s Daredevil. When it was announced that Netflix planned on releasing a new season of Daredevil, everyone was pretty much excited to see the superhero save New York.
However, ever since the series debuted on the streaming platform, people are less than thrilled about the new season. In fact, one critic said season 2 “is a straight-up disappointment.””
Here are some of the reviews of Daredevil Season 2:
“Daredevil just wants to dole out fun doses of extreme gore on the path to an endpoint on a business plan. Any viewer committed to story is left searching in the dark.” – Time magazine.
“It’s hard to do anything new in the superhero genre, but the second season of Marvel’s Daredevil seems resolutely determined not to try.” – Vulture
“Goddard, DeKnight, and D’Onofrio are gone, and so is the spark. Season 2-overseen by exec producers Douglas Petrie and Marco Ramirez, who both wrote on season 1-is a straight-up disappointment.” – Entertainment Weekly
Daredevil centers around a blind lawyer who fights crime by day in the courtroom and by night as a superhero with extraordinary senses in this adaptation of the Marvel Comics character Daredevil.
TV critics are not alone. Fans took to Twitter to bash Daredevil and it’s not pretty.
