True Blood Actor Drinks Blood “It Does Something Emotionally”

Hollywood actor drinks blood in order to get into character

Even though True Blood aired their season finale several months ago, details surrounding the incredibly captivating series continue to emerge from out of nowhere.

One of the characters that was brought back to the final season of True Blood was Hoyt, Jason’s former best friend and Jessica’s former lover. Actor Jim Parrack, who plays Hoyt, revealed that he prepares for the role by drinking real blood.

Jim Parrack was interviewed by Vulture to talk bout the final season of True Blood and during the course of the interview he explained his love for real-life human blood. It may sound strange but, at least the actor does not think he is really a vampire. Instead, he believes that drinking human blood is fulfilling and an interesting experience and everyone should enjoy it once in a while.

“I don’t mean copious amounts of blood. I’m not getting a glass of it or something. But if you drink it, it does something to you emotionally. It’s hard to describe. It’s kind of like you’re in the moment, and the impulse comes, and I like it.”

Parrack explains that he simply likes the way blood tastes and occasionally gets into trying it, admitting he’s tried the blood of a girl he was seeing.

Hollywood is filled with fad diets, vampire facials, and now drinking blood. At least he didn’t cut his face with a knife and remove a tooth like Shia LaBeouf did for Fury
