Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis and Matthew McConaughey are all eyed for roles in ‘The Batman‘.
Just a few days after casting Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon and Paul Danno as Riddler. Matt Reeves is now looking to cast Colin Farrell, Andy Serkis, and Matthew McConaughey for his upcoming ‘The Batman’ movie.

Serkis is being considered to take on the role of Bruce Wayne’s butler Alfred Pennyworth while McConaughey will play the role of Gotham City District Attorney, Harvey Dent.
Colin Farrell is in talks to play the role of Oswald Chesterfield Cobblepot better known as Penguin for the leading role. Reports are suggesting Harvey Dent is a leading member of society in Gotham’s legal system but leads into a crime, which will be featured in a sequel. Robert Pattinson is set to star as Batman. Matt Reeves took over the directing job after Ben Affleck stepped away from the movie. Affleck was set to play Batman but he walked away from the movie franchise for good. Reeves described the movie as “very personal” and a “defining” story about the Dark Knight. Reeves wrote the screenplay and is producing with Dylan Clark with Michael E. Uslan executive producing.
