‘The Batman 2‘ script is said to be in the making with director Matt Reeves, according to reports
In the same year, Reeves directed and wrote the initial draft for the Robert Pattinson-Batman era. He also co-wrote and directed the first script for that era.
It’s not clear whether or not The Batman 2 has received an official greenlight. However, in a recent interview with Deadline, Matt Reeves revealed that a sequel is on the way.

Warner Bros. Pictures has reportedly offered Reeves a multi-year first-look film deal. He has already started writing the second installment of the Batman film starring Robert Pattinson. Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Imogen Poots are all expected to reprise their roles. The story will pick up where the first film left off. Reeves is writing the script with Mattson Tomlin, who was an uncredited writer on the original movie.
Reeves stated his new deal with Deadline: “Making this legendary studio my home is a dream. I am so excited to be working with Mike, Pam, Channing, and our teams to bring captivating stories I am passionate about to the big and small screen.” Reeves is also working on The Batman spinoff series titled The Penguin with Colin Farrell.
