There might be a Game of Thrones version of Pokémon Go coming soon.
Are you obsessed with the Game of Thrones and Pokémon Go? If so, I have great news for you.
Archit Bhargava, a marketing manager over Niantic Labs (the creative geniuses behind Pokémon GO), has stated “My personal fantasy is like a Game of Thrones game where Westeros is mapped out on Earth and you join House Stark.”
Details surrounding the new video game have not been released. However, reports suggest that the AR game could be tied to a more board game style where you need to capture specific Game of Thrones locations in the real world, similar to the board game Risk . This new futuristic game would definitely require a lot of planning, teamwork and some serious traveling. But, it is an interesting idea that developers are interested in creating new and unique Augmented Reality video games.
