Steven Spielberg discovered an actress based on her experience as a weather girl.
According to reports, Steven Spielberg hired actress Charlotte Le Bon for his new feature film after he saw her as a weather girl on French TV.
The Canadian model and actress stars alongside Helen Mirren in the upcoming feature film , “The Hundred-Foot Journey“.  Spielberg recently revealed to Entertainment Tonight that Le Bon didn’t have to audition for the role after he saw her skills on the French chat show Le Grand Journal. “I found her on French television doing the weather on a daytime French talk show and cast her based on that.”
The Hundred-Foot Journey centers on the Kadam family who clashes with Madame Mallory, proprietress of a celebrated French restaurant, after they open their own nearby eatery, until undeniable chemistry causes the Madame to take gifted young chef Hassan under her wing. The movie features Helen Mirren, Om Puri, and Manish Dayal.
Le Bon, worked on only a few French films said that, “Steven Spielberg says he discovered you, I guess I’ll try to take as much as I can from it”.
Le Bon already has another feature film lined up after being discovered from Steven Spielberg. She will work alongside Joseph Gordon-Levitt as in the upcoming major motion picture, “The Walk” directed by Robert Zemeckis.
