Shonda Rhimes New Comedy Series Coming to ABC

Date:

Shonda Rhimes sells new comedy series, Splitsville to ABC.

If you are a Grey’s Anatomy or Scandal fan, then I have great news for you. Shonda Rhimes, the creator of Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal, just sold a new comedy series to ABC.

According to TheWrap, Betsy Beers and Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland sold comedy pitch Splitsville to ABC.

Shonda Rhimes ABC

Splitsville is written by Trophy Wife duo Emily Halpern and Sarah Haskins. The show centers around two newly divorced neighbors who join forces to raise kids and overcome life’s challenges.

Shondaland is probably one of the biggest TV production companies in the world. With a night dedicated to only Shonda Rhimes TV shows, ABC network renamed Thursday as TGIT (Thank God It’s Thursday) for their full line up of Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and How to Get Away with Murder.
