How to join the cast and crew of Selma during the march in Selma, Alabama
Oprah Winfrey, the producer of Academy Award nominated best picture, Selma, is planning a march Sunday in Selma, Alabama. Oprah Winfrey will be walking alongside Ava DuVernay and leading actor David Oyelowo to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. birthday.

According to reports, the event will pay tribute to Martin Luther King Jr.’s civil rights leadership and his involvement in in the voting rights protests of 1965, the focal point of the Oscar nominated movie, Selma.
Democratic Rep. Terri Sewell, the sole black member of Alabama’s congressional delegation, will moderate a panel discussion at Selma High School during the special event, which is set to take place all day.
Paramount will also hold two free screenings of the movie in Selma on Monday for Martin Luther King Day.
