“Saturday Night Live” has added six featured talents to their comedic cast: Beck Bennett, John Milhiser, Kyle Mooney , Mike O’Brien, Noël Wells and Brooks Wheelan to the cast.
The names had been circulating for some time, but there was yet to be a final word from NBC. Only after a release today, has made the new cast members official.
Bennett is perhaps the best known of the bunch, having appeared in a series of national spots for At&T.
Mike O’Brien is moving from writer to cast member, while Tim Robinson (who made his debut last season) is doing the opposite.
A lot of pressure and opportunity for Cecily Strong after Lorne Michaels revealed yesterday that second-year cast member Cecily Strong will co-host “Weekend Update” this season with Seth Meyers, who is departing the show in February to focus on “Late Night.”
